This mommy and daddy sure do know how to make some gorgeous babies! I’ve been so fortunate to be able to photograph both of these little girls when they were newborns. I have to start the post with my new favorite photo! I didn’t know what to expect when I had this photo in my head, but they were both perfect models so it went off without a hitch! :) Baby A was such an angel for her session and big sister A is so sweet and loves her so much. Stunning mommy | Rio Grande Valley maternity photographer

I’m back in the swing of things and wanted to give this mommy her peek! Thank you for your patience Brittaney! My computer overheated and died and I am now up and running again. It will continue to be a work in progress to reinstall all of my software and try to get myself organized again. But, it feels so good to be “connected” once again.

Thank you so much Brittaney and Alex for letting me share this special time with you as you welcome your second baby!  I can’t wait to meet him. He’s so lucky to have such sweet parents and I know Mr. K is going to make the best big brother.

My little love | Rio Grande Valley children’s photographer

Sadly I rarely have make time to photograph my Maddie. And when we do go out, sometimes I think I know why I avoid it….I think I got a full 8 minutes out of her before she had a melt down. Truthfully, my heart aches that I have so many beautiful photos of other people’s children and so few of my own little one. I can only dream that soon there will be more hours in the day and I will be able to capture the little love that made me fall in love with photography in the first place. She’s modeling some clothing here for Polka Dot Market. I fell in love with Sally’s T’s when I bought one for Maddie’s first birthday party. These new skirts and shirts are absolutely fabulous! Go check them out. More to come of our 8-minute mini session soon! :)

I was so excited to photograph Baby L. You may remember his gorgeous mommy and daddy from here. He was such an angel. There were times that I thought I was photographing a doll because he was so still and peaceful and he had the most beautiful complexion…he honestly looked too perfect to be real! Crystal and Eli & Mr. J

Crystal and Eli, can you believe November is already here and that your wedding is only weeks away?!!! I had such a good time with you guys during your engagement session and am so excited and humbled that you chose me to photograph your wedding. I absolutely cannot wait! You all have done an amazing job of planning everything, so I know it’s going to be such a memorable day. I’m so happy that Mr. J was able to join us for the session. He made it SO much fun! He has the most incredible smile and is just simply handsome! :) From the moment I met this couple, I could tell that they were such genuinely kind people, who were so in love. I feel so blessed to get to share in your special day, so thank you for the trust you have put in me. Enjoy your peek….

Happy Halloween!

Beautiful maternity

Valerie and Jorge, I know how excited you all are to finally welcome a little GIRL into your family and I know A is going to make the best big brother ever. I’m so happy that you trusted me to take these portraits for you. Even though nine months may not feel like a short time (it didn’t for me! :) ), in retrospect, I’m so glad that I took maternity portraits when I was pregnant with my daughter. There is something so special and beautiful about women during pregnancy and you can see them literally glow. And, Val you are certainly glowing in these images. Having your little princess, Miss N, in your arms soon is going to make your family complete! Enjoy your sneak peek!
