This was the first year Maddie actually understood the concept of trick-or-treating and it we had a blast tonight. Just wanted to share a few since I know her Auntie Perla is probably waiting for this post.

Valerie and Jorge, I know how excited you all are to finally welcome a little GIRL into your family and I know A is going to make the best big brother ever. I’m so happy that you trusted me to take these portraits for you. Even though nine months may not feel like a short time (it didn’t for me! ), in retrospect, I’m so glad that I took maternity portraits when I was pregnant with my daughter. There is something so special and beautiful about women during pregnancy and you can see them literally glow. And, Val you are certainly glowing in these images. Having your little princess, Miss N, in your arms soon is going to make your family complete! Enjoy your sneak peek!
What I like most about being a photographer is all of the wonderful people I get to meet and how I get to help document a special time in their lives. Sarah and Ronnie, thanks so much for letting me capture your anticipation of your daughter. I noticed throughout our session how much Ronnie makes Sarah smile and laugh and I know they are going to make awesome parents because they love each other so much! Sarah, you look so amazing in these!! Aren’t they a great looking couple?!! Here’s a little peek to hold you over until I get the complete gallery up. There are lots more to see!
I remember the day she was born…I even got balloons at school. I remember she loved to watch Barney and sing and dance along. I remember that she never made the best doll when playing house because she would always crawl away when I wanted to play with her. And now, I can’t believe she’s all grown up. A senior. About to graduate and embark on her own journey. This is one of many sessions I’ll be having with my little sis before she heads off to college to pursue her dreams. I know she worries about what she’ll do and where she’ll go, but she’s one of the most talented, honest, sweet and good hearted people I know, so I know she will find her calling and make us so proud. She’s just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
