One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is getting to watch the tiny newborns that I photograph grow up! It means so much to me that parents not only trust me with their precious newborn memories, but also want me to capture those other childhood milestones…like turning the big ONE! Today is M’s actual birthday. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY from your favorite photographer! ;) He has the cutest smile!! I had so much fun at his session. We just let him do his thing and play and he was such a trooper! Thanks so much Melinda and Mark for trusting me to photograph your little one again. I know you are so proud of your precious boy! And, because it’s his birthday today, he gets a special BIG sneak peek! :)

It was so much fun photographing Miss A! She’s my Maddie’s playmate everyday and they love each other so much.  She has the most beautiful blue eyes and a gorgeous smile. I have to admit that photographing one and a half year olds is tough. They are usually more interested in their surroundings than looking at me. But she was so happy running around and playing with her mom that we got so many great shots! I  love all of her little expressions! So sweet! Thanks for trusting me to photograph your baby girl! This first photo is one of my favorites. I knew the second I took it that I was going to love it!

I’m getting much better about making time to photograph my little one and it makes me so happy! And, I must say she’s becoming quite the model/actress (must get her acting abilities from daddy). She’s growing up so fast and I want to remember her just as she is right now. Lovable. Caring. Sensitive. Passionate. Strong willed. Spirited. Perceptive. Persistent. Imaginative. Intelligent. Sassy. Helpful. Enthusiastic. Curious. Dramatic. Did I already write dramatic? Ah, yes. No harm in listing it twice. ;) Everything that a 3-year-old little girl should be and so much more! :)

It’s amazing how quickly time passes. This was Baby L about a year ago. Now, in that suit especially, he looks SO grown up and like a little man. He is such a happy baby and has a smile that makes you just want to pinch his cheeks! There’s something about baby smiles with gums and tiny teeth that I find so adorably sweet! I had the best time documenting his one year portraits. Thanks for trusting me to capture your cutie! Enjoy your peek!

I’ve been eyeing these gorgeous fields of flowers (ok…maybe they’re weeds) all around the Valley for some time now so I took my little one over for a few photos. She’s my hardest subject to photograph. She usually humors me for 5 minutes and then has had enough. This time was no exception. I love them though! :)

Miss M’s mom always books a photo session on her birthday, which I think is a really special tradition and a wonderful way to celebrate! She says it’s very important for her to capture her daughter just as she is because she will never have her at that moment again. So. so. true. Well, mom…in these photos your baby girl will be five, FOREVER.

She is such a sweetheart and I can’t believe how much more grown up she looks from last year. She is such a blast to photograph and is just gorgeous!

Fun time with Miss C!

Got to hang out with my favorite niece this weekend and she is always full of energy and so adorable! We took some “Mommy and Me” portraits too that I’m just starting to work on…but I had to post at least one. I wanted to get this peek up soon so it would make her mommy feel better. :) As you can see, C is quite the model and was really workin’ the camera with her sassy attitude and her “ballerina princess cowgirl” attire. :) Thanks for letting me capture these fun images for you all!
